The GVS-RPB PX5 is a lightweight and versatile Powered Air Purifying Respirator designed to deliver clean, filtered air across demanding industrial environments.
Its vertical mounting position and flexible belt system distribute the unit’s weight comfortably against the wearer’s back, helping improve stability and reduce fatigue during extended use.
The PX5 weighs approximately 1.16 kg with an HE/P3 filter installed and approximately 1.65–1.70 kg with a compatible gas filter installed. Three selectable airflow settings of 180, 210 and 230 L/min allow the user to adjust the airflow according to the task and working conditions.
This 03-806-FR starter pack includes a high-capacity rechargeable battery, gas filter door and flame-resistant belt assembly. A compatible headtop, breathing tube and filter or cartridge are required and sold separately.

Q. Can the PX5 be used immediately after purchase?
No. A compatible headtop, breathing tube and suitable filter or cartridge must be purchased separately.
Q. Is a gas filter included?
No. The gas filter door is included, but the gas filter or cartridge is sold separately.
Q. Which filters are compatible?
The PX5 is compatible with selected GVS-RPB A2P3 and ABEKP3 filters. Choose the appropriate filter for the contaminants present in your workplace.
Q. How long does the battery last?
The high-capacity battery provides over 12 hours of runtime at the lowest airflow setting. Runtime may vary depending on the airflow setting, filter condition, temperature and working environment.
Q. Can the airflow be adjusted?
Yes. The PX5 offers three airflow settings: 180, 210 and 230 L/min.
Q. Is the PX5 waterproof?
The PX5 is IP65-rated when correctly assembled and operating. It is not completely waterproof and should not be submerged or exposed directly to high-pressure water.
Q. What applications is it suitable for?
When fitted with an appropriate filter and headtop, the PX5 can be used for mining, foundries, welding, grinding, painting, chemical handling, automotive work, shipyards and agricultural chemical spraying.
Q. Can it be used in oxygen-deficient environments?
No. The PX5 filters surrounding air and does not supply oxygen. It must not be used in oxygen-deficient or immediately dangerous to life or health environments.
