The GVS SPM420 pre-filter kit attaches directly on top of your Elipse A1P3 or ABE1P3 gas filter cartridge, catching dust and large particulates before they reach the main filter surface. When the pad is saturated, swap it out — the cartridge keeps going.

Designed for construction sites, industrial environments, painting, welding, and woodworking — anywhere your filters wear out from dust before the activated carbon is even exhausted.

Each kit includes 2 snap-fit holders and 10 replacement pads (5 pairs).

Q1. Is the SPM420 a replacement for my gas filter cartridge?

A: No.The SPM420 is a protective add-on accessory that attaches to your existing gas filter cartridge.

It must always be used together with A1P3, B1P3, ABE1P3, or A2P3 cartridges — it does not replace them.

Q2. How many times can I change pads with one kit?

A: Each kit includes 10 pads (5 pairs).
Since the GVS Elipse mask uses filters on both sides, one pair = one full replacement.→ Total: 5 complete changes per kit

Q3. When should I replace the pad?

A: Replace the pad when:

• It becomes visibly clogged with dust
  
• You feel increased breathing resistance
