The PD-1 Aluminised Heat Protection Aramid Pad is designed for double-layer protection over gloves, providing enhanced safety in welding and metalworking environments. Constructed from aluminium and aramid-bonded fabrics, the pad reflects heat efficiently, preventing internal glove temperatures from rising and reducing the risk of burns caused by indirect heat exposure. For a secure and stable fit, the PD-1 features knuckle and wrist banding to keep it in place, while the soft suede cowhide leather interior increases friction with gloves, preventing unwanted movement. Additionally, the aramid-stitched exterior enhances durability, ensuring flame and abrasion resistance in high-heat applications.
