Due to their thinness, Insulating Gloves are vulnerable to the risk of tearing by sharp pointed objects that are present during wiring work. Double Defence Protective Gloves are designed to be worn outside insulating gloves, to provide you with an additional layer of protection against tears, cuts, and piercings, preventing the potential for any electrical shock accidents!
GENERAL FEATURES
- NOT TO BE USED ALONE - ONLY for use in conjunction with an additional layer of insulation gloves that are sized 10-11
- Constructed with Goatskin Leather, a tough and abrasion resistant material that provides you with protection without comprising mobility
- Split Cowhide Leather is used on the extended sleeves for additional protection
- Protection and durability are enhanced through the extra layer of leather added to the wrist, where high levels of abrasion are inevitable. The inner layer is softened to increase friction, insuring the insulation gloves stay in place
- Elasticised wristband to provide a secure and personalised fit, minimising the risk of either glove layers moving around
- A layer of leather is added to the sewing seams around the thumb, to prevent any tears or damage that may occur with abrasion

Q. Why do I need a long-cuff insulating glove protector?
Long-cuff glove protectors provide additional protection for the wrist and forearm area while helping protect insulating gloves from cuts, abrasion, punctures, and mechanical wear during electrical work.
Q. Can I use this glove protector by itself?
No. This product does not provide electrical insulation and must always be worn over certified insulating gloves.
Q. What is the benefit of the adjustable wrist strap?
The adjustable wrist strap helps secure the protector over the insulating glove, reducing movement and improving fit during demanding electrical work.
Q. Does this glove protector protect against electric shock?
No. Electrical protection is provided by the certified insulating glove underneath. This protector is designed solely for mechanical protection.

A long-cuff protector provides extended coverage around the wrist and lower forearm, making it suitable for larger insulating gloves and higher-voltage applications where additional coverage is preferred.
Q. What is the difference between insulating gloves and glove protectors?
Insulating gloves provide electrical insulation against electric shock. Glove protectors help prevent cuts, punctures, abrasion, and other mechanical damage to the insulating gloves. Both should be used together.
